Praxair offers photovoltaic cell or module manufacturers and polysilicon producers a complete portfolio of process gases, gas delivery systems, deposition materials, and supply chain management services.

Several technologies are available in the industry for producing photovoltaic modules, and gases are necessary for just about every one of these production technologies.

Our solar-grade atmospheric, specialty and dopant gases are available from state-of-the-art facilities in Asia, Europe and the Americas. We provide turnkey design and installation of gas farms and gas delivery systems, and deliver all of the gases needed to photovoltaic module or polysilicon producers safely and reliably. As part of these services, we also manage and maintain gas systems and cylinders at customer sites.

Praxair's on-site and bulk gas delivery systems combined with state-of-the-art analytical systems allow us to efficiently manage our customers' gas requirements. Our patented SureFlow™ bulk gas delivery systems and UltraPurge™ gas control units for cylinders provide reliable control and system flexibility to optimize customers' manufacturing processes.

Our deposition materials such as AZO and other sputtering targets and evaporation sources are used by PV cell and module manufacturers in both thin-film and crystalline-silicon based photovoltaics for conductive absorbers, buffer and back-contact layers. Our growing portfolio of physical vapor deposition (PVD) materials includes sources available in various shapes for metal and metal-oxide films.

Photovoltaic manufacturers can rely on Praxair's integrated supply chain management services for common consumables and spare parts. We can tailor a service program that offers you both time and cost savings.
